Imposter and "as" comes into play abilities

If I play an Imposter copying a champion such as Puppeteer, which has an ability that triggers "as" it comes into play.

My question is that since Imposter's ability triggers "as" it comes into play, after it resolves, do I get the "as" it comes into play ability of the champion I copied?

I;m assuming yes but want to be sure.
